In the Neuland (2022)

Neuland is a community garden situated at an industrial wasteland in south of Cologne. Started in 2013, it represents a future way of sustainable citizen engagement against modern urbanization. Visiting Neuland as an urban resident myself, I am impressed by ingenious strategies and earnest passion of the urban farmers. Human interaction with the nature is reintroduced to urban life, where the potential of eco-urban connection merges.

This project is featured in Trickle, a publication of The Fool Collective , for which I worked as the editor-in-chief.
